FinAssam is the Financial Management Information System (FMIS) implemented for Government of Assam which consolidates all the financial information needs of the state government into one information database. It is an Integrated Financial Management System for the state of Assam with modules like Budget Planning & Preparation, Budget Modification, Budget Distribution, Treasury Bills, Administrative Approvals, Technical Sanctions, Financial Sanctions, Fixation of Ceilings, NPS, RIDF, Debt Management, First Salary, Employee Self Service etc. It also comprise of value added modules like SDG aligned Outcome Budget, e Budget etc. FinAssam project is also integrated with RBI, NPS, PFMS etc. It is a World Bank funded project.

It is a unified service delivery platform implemented for the Labour& ESI Department, in a state government in INDIA that aids as an effective tool to deliver services in a timely, cost-effective and transparent manner to both internal and external stakeholders and help improve the "Ease of Doing Business". Various citizen services offered by both the Directorate of Labour and the Directorate of Factories & Boilers are made fully online along with e-payment, tracking and notification features. With such a system in place, the applicants are able to submit applications without visiting the offices, and the overall speed of the service delivery has enhanced drastically. The certificates issued by the department are bar coded and can be verified from the portal, either by providing the tracking number or certificate number. In brief, it is a major transformation whereby the need for physical touch points and paper-based processing was completely done away with.

It is an Enterprise Class Solution “RISe” for the end-to-end automation of its functional, administrative, financial, and managerial areas of SEEPZ SEZ. The solution aids in bringing oa transformative change in the way SEEPZ manage their operations. With advanced features, robust security, and streamlined processes, the solution stands as a catalyst for efficiency, transparency, and compliance in the dynamic landscape of SEEPZ. It comprises of key modules like Estate Management including Land and Building (Fixed Assets), Financial Accounting Management, Unit Management, UAC (Unit Approval Committee), Rate, Rent & Bills management, Security Contract Management, Waste Disposal Monitoring, Contract Performance Monitoring, Conference Room Management, Guest House Management, Creche Management etc.

The solution helps to build dashboards using BI Tool/ Analytics, Debt Management module, Audit Management module and Mobile Apps/ Platform. The solution is designed to analyse the output that helps in meaningful insights for various stakeholders to identify the actual pain areas and to improve upon for better fiscal governance. The dynamic dashboard using the proposed BI tool aids in easy and meaningful interpretation of the current and historical data. The Debt module maintains the up to date information pertaining to all the borrowings of the state. The Audit module keeps track of all the audit findings provided by the state Accountant General.

The solution automates the core Functional and Administrative areas of Factories and Boilers department including the public interfacing with the industries resulting in significant improvements in efficiency of the organization. It also helps to put in place an effective communication channel wherever applicable through E-Mail and SMS notifications to the stake holders. Digital signature and payment gateway integrations are also incorporated. A wide range of reports can be generated by the users based on authentication. The key modules facilitate Govt. to Business delivery. Factory Information System takes care of the grant of license, renewal, transfer, amendments etc. Boiler Information System handles registration, renewals, transfer, amendments etc.

It is a centralized workers welfare management system that helps in ensuring the timely delivery of eligible benefits to the registered building & other construction workers of a state in INDIA. It is a digital platform that facilitates Registration (of Workers, Principal Employers), Generation of QR Code based ID Card, Submission of requests (for Pension, Maternity Benefit etc.), Processing of Applications, Approvals/Rejections, Fee Collection, Cess Collection, Fund Management, Benefit Disbursal etc. The solution is integrated with the Payment Gateway, Email / SMS Gateway, Digital Signature etc.

The solution is to facilitate software enabled preparation of Macro Fiscal Projection for the State of Assam. The envisaged solution comprises of two modules namely 1) Macro Fiscal Aggregates and 2) Macro Fiscal Projection. Macroeconomic projections aim to predict and understand the future state of the economy on a broad scale. It includes information related to economic growth, inflation, wages, unemployment and trade.

This project was conceptualized, designed, developed and implemented catering to the key functional requirements of the Kerala State Audit Department. The key features of the solution comprise of Audit plan preparation and its approval, team scheduling, audit findings, final audit report, charge / surcharge certificates, memorandum of important points and audit monitoring. In brief, it helps to manage the entire lifecycle of a typical audit right from audit planning stage through its execution & reporting to its monitoring.

The project was to setup a registration portal for consolidating the data pertaining to clinical trials conducted by various agencies. The registry will be able to accept information over the Internet from accredited registrants and provide this information to any person desirous of obtaining information with respect to clinical trials. It is a full-fledged primary registry of India and the ultimate goal of the registry is to develop an electronically searchable web-based system that is accessible to the public free of cost.

The solution automates the Loan & HR management activities of the organization. It also facilitates maintenance of information pertaining to grants given to Sector Skill Councils / Training Institutes for promoting training programs on entrepreneurship development. It will be a web based application and would be hosted on a central server. Modules include; Loan to SCA/CP (PSB/RRB/MFI) based on Lending Schemes, Grant to Sector Skill Councils based on Promotional Schemes, HR Management System, Management Information System and Technical Administration Module.

SmartWings is a software solution for office automation designed and developed to suit the requirements of No.5 Wing, Kalaikunda office of Indian Air Force. It has been customised to suit the exact needs of No. 5 Wing, Kalaikunda. It consists of two unique software products STAGE and INTRANET. While STAGE addresses the requirements of File Processing, INTRANET provides for the intra office communication between the users.

The solution aids in the electronic service delivery to industries and establishments across the state of Kerala in terms of issuing Consent to Operate, Consent to Establish. It covers end to end functionalities of a typical citizen service portal such as one time registration, request for consent to operate / establish, request scrutiny and processing, e-payment, generation of consent certificate, renewal, amendment, transfer etc. The solution also covers other areas like Waste & Returns Management, Complaint Management, Laboratory Management, Legal Actions Management, Internal Communication & Collaboration Suite, Dashboard & MIS, Data Analytics and Mobile App. This project is one of the key initiatives for improving the Ease of Doing Business.

In order to offer better support to the fishermen community and also to administer the HR related activities of the organization effectively, it is required to have current and precise information on demand to all the concerned officials. The project is an Enterprise System covering the Loan & Human Resource (HR) management wherein information is shared amongst the Officials concerned, Employees and other Stakeholders based on role and authorization. The software comprises of two major modules namely Loan Management and Human Resource (HR) Management. The Loan Management module covers end to end functionalities right from Loan Application through its Processing, Sanction & Disbursement, Repayment, Recovery to its closure. It also covers Society Registration, One Time Settlement, Moratorium, Fund Management, and detailed MIS Reports. The Human Resource (HR) Management module includes a digital service book with sub modules like Leave, Payroll, Transfer & Postings, Promotions, Performance Appraisal, Disciplinary Actions etc.

The project was to implement a web based solution that automates the core functional activities of KSWDC. The core function of loan management is automated as part of this project. It is a fully Integrated Work Flow enabled Loan Management System, primarily for NBFCs offering subsidized loans to specific target groups. The module covers the entire life cycle of the process starting from loan processing, disbursal and repayments. Apart from loan management, KSWDC has also automated its routine administrative areas like file management, asset management, employee service records, leave, payroll, training, hostel etc.

Finance Inspection Management System (FIMS) was devised to computerise the key activities of the Finance Inspection Wing to facilitate the achievement of set objectives of the wing like complete and precise documentation of inspections, timely inspections, repeat inspections, effective management of follow up actions etc. FIMS is a solution that covers the functionalities related to inspection management which includes the preparation and approval of inspection schedules, inspection reports etc. It has the facility to prepare schedules of review meetings and to check the availability of participants. It includes file processing for correspondence other than inspection matters.

The solution automates the Loan management activities of the organization. As a national funding agency the loans are provided to the State Channelizing Agencies and Regional Rural Banks. The solution covers details like Notional Allocation, Annual Action Plan from SCA / RRB, Guarantee Details, Sanction, Drawl Request, Disbursement, Repayment Schedule, Repayment Details, One Time Settlement, Demand Generation, Defaulters List, Notices, SMS / Email Reminders and Loan Closure.

The Campus Area Network and Enterprise Software (CANES) project involved the implementation of a Network Backbone for the institute on Optic Fibre Cable (OFC) connecting the various buildings in the campus. As part of the project Switched Local Area Networks (LANs) were established in each building that were then hooked onto the OFC Network Backbone. The computers in the various sections / departments were then connected to the LAN, establishing a seamless network of computers across the campus. A suite of Software applications for automating 12 functional and administrative activities in the institute was also developed. These applications were deployed centrally on servers, whereby users could access their respective software modules from anywhere in the network.

BMEDS – Bihar Medical Equipments and Drugs System for BMSICL caters to the automation needs of drug and equipment related planning, procurement, distribution and maintenance. The key areas covered are drug procurement, quality check and its distribution, equipment procurement, allocation and its maintenance. The payments to the suppliers are also managed through this system.

QUEST is a software for the structured archival of Non Destructive Testing (NDT) data. The solution, Quest, converts the data / observations / comments etc. of the senior scientists into categorized sections and stores it in a database. It is possible for junior scientists to go through the complete process when he / she is making an inspection in the absence of a senior scientist. The Knowledge based system that was implemented maintains the NDT data for the past 10 years. The software also has the provision for rule based analysis of defect data. In addition to the NDT data the knowledgebase is also capable of storing Radiographic Images, CAD Drawings etc.

The aim of the Universal Trial Reference Number (UTRN) is to facilitate the unique identification of clinical trials submitted to the International Clinical Trials Registry Platform's (ICTRP) Search Portal. The software provided facilitated the generation of a unique Universal Trial Reference Number for each of the clinical trials submitted to the International Clinical Trials Registry Platform’s Search Portal. This number aids as an easy reference tool to search a particular trial on a later date.

The Health Research Information System (HRIS), is a repository of information on Research Projects, Publications, Training Programs, Seminars, Workshops and Conferences. The software is a workflow based application, the users from any institution in the country can access and/or update information based on authorization.

NHA is responsible for tracking the Health Resource utilization, analysing health fund distribution across different services, tracking health expenditure trends and making financial projection of national health system requirements. The software solution enables the NHA Cell to generate various reports in short notice. The financial data can to be presented in various formats for analytical and decision making purposes. The software facilitates multiple personnel of the NHA to access and update information simultaneously and also permit others with authorization to generate various reports on demand.

It is an online platform for the I&PRD Dept. that helps to manage the advertisements and it comprises of functions like Advertisement Request Submission, Verification and Processing by the organization, Issue of Release Orders, Order Acceptance and Bill Submission by Media, Submission of Bills by Media, Payment Processing by the organization etc. The software maintains the details of each media house including geographical circulation/ coverage, category etc. The release of orders can also be systematically managed through AdMIRe.

To overcome the disadvantages that persisted with the existing software it was found necessary to migrate to Oracle RDBMS. The operating system was changed to Windows NT, keeping pace with the changes in technology. The front end for the software was reworked using Developer 2000. The software aids in migrating the existing software application module on Integra / UNIX to Oracle / NT. The application was designed on Developer 2000 with Oracle as its backend. The design and creation of tables in Oracle was done to facilitate smooth data transfer from the existing Integra database. The software is more user friendly as well as the transaction speeds are higher.

The software solution implemented consists of three major modules namely Product Inventory, Sales and Marketing. Product inventory takes care of inventory management and is integrated to Sales module. It generates consolidated reports of inventory position on a daily basis. The Sales Application handles the sales through various channels. All the cash transactions related to sales are maintained in the software. The Marketing Information System aids the management in taking useful decisions by analysing the various aspects of sales.

Data from the Billing Machines at the retail outlets are uploaded to the server at the respective warehouses. This data is consolidated at the warehouse and various reports are generated for the warehouse managers. The consolidated data from the warehouse is again transferred to the Central Server at the Head Office. The requisite reports are generated from the consolidated data from all warehouses of the organization. This information is made available to all the authorized personnel at the HO. The software has two versions, for the head office and the warehouse, respectively. The Head Office application is mainly for consolidation of data sent from the warehouses. The data received from the warehouses will include the details of transactions of each retail outlet collected through the electronic billing machine. The solution at the warehouse is for consolidation of the data from the electronic billing machines at the retail outlets.

A software solution for Repayment and Allotment Monitoring was developed and implemented following a detailed study at Kinfra. The software solution, ARAM, is designed to keep track of the applicants to various units in each park and ensure the compliance of all formalities before a unit is allocated to an applicant. ARAM also manages the periodic repayments by the various units in the different parks. The software solution generates the monthly repayment schedule for each unit based on the approved interest rate for the park / industry sector.

TASK – Total Automation Solution for KMSCL is a web based solution built on open technologies that caters to the total automation needs of the organization. The solution is work flow enabled wherein users will have different roles and responsibilities. The key areas covered are drug procurement, quality check and its distribution, equipment procurement, allocation and its maintenance, HR management, file management, asset management, financial accounting.

Saarathi is a suite of over 50 interdependent applications to automate the core administrative as well as functional areas of the organization so that the organization can be effectively managed as a compact entity. The major software applications suites are for Fleet Management, Revenue Management, Schedule Management and various other administrative functions. Also covered are Financial Accounting and corporate Intranet solution. Routine reports would be generated automatically from the respective software modules.

The project is an ERP class custom built suite of applications to automate the core administrative as well as functional areas of the organization. The solution includes functional modules for Registration cum Membership of Exporters, Trade & Tender Enquiries and Exporter’s Problem Management System. It also covers administrative modules for HR, File Processing & Tracking Solution and Intranet Software.

A detailed study was conducted at the Commissionerate of Police – Kochi City to identify the routine and repetitive tasks carried out by the administrative sections in the office. Based on the study 20 areas amenable to computerisation were identified. SmartOffice, a suite of software applications, was developed specifically catering to each of the identified areas. SmartOffice comprises of 20 Software modules that are interdependent and fully integrated. The process of implementation of the various software modules of SmartOffice at site is currently on. The implementation involves setting up the software, updating the software with the necessary back data, providing end user training and hand holding support.

The solution aids in the automation of the major functional activities of the Police Housing Corporation right from the acceptance of a project through the preparation of drawings and schedules, tendering, monitoring and effecting payments. The software application consists of various modules like Processing of Orders, E-Tendering (Comprise sub modules like Vendor Registration, Tender Notification, Bid Submission, Bid Comparison & Vendor History), Issuing Work Orders, Progress Monitoring, M-Book Management (M-Book Preparation & M-Book Verification), Bill Preparation & Bill Processing. Once deployed the solution aids in streamlining the work order generation and payment processing activities of the organization.

A detailed study conducted at the Kerala State Police Headquarters identified 20 areas amenable for computerisation in the administrative sections of the office. The study at the PHQ was done based on the earlier study conducted at the District Office of the department (CoP – Kochi). SmartOffice, a suite of software applications was developed specifically catering to each of the identified areas. SmartOffice comprises of 20 Software modules that are interdependent and fully integrated. SmartOffice for PHQ also envisages the requirement of integrating and consolidation of information from the various district offices of the department. The process of implementation of the various software modules of SmartOffice at site is currently on. The implementation involves setting up the software, updating the software with the necessary back data, providing end user training and hand holding support.

A software solution designed to monitor the progress of investigation was developed and deployed for the Crime Branch Department. The solution put in place a reporting mechanism by which the investigative officers were able update the status of cases handled by them. The software solution is hosted on a Central Server on an Intranet and is accessible to all users in the network. Based on authorisation, users can access or modify the data. Data submitted by the concerned person is automatically available to the next superior officer for approval. The Crime Branch Headquarters can generate various reports to monitor the progress of investigation at each Investigating unit in the state. Reports can also be generated of the progress on each case and also the complete investigation details of the individual case.

The implemented solution comprises of a suite of software applications, which automates the core administrative and functional operations of the organization. This ensures that the organization is effectively administered as a compact entity. The software modules implemented at NORKA – ROOTS as part of the current project are 1) Attendance Management, 2) Payroll 3) Financial Accounting 4) Asset Register 5) Visitors’ Register 6) Entrepreneurship Development and 7) File Tracking & Processing Solution. All routine reports that were being generated manually are now generated automatically from the respective software modules.

The Vehicle Theft Information System (VeTIS) was conceived to address this problem. The software maintains the complete details as in manual registers and allows the users to search online for any specific information. The software can be deployed in a Central Server ensuring that any office under the department has access to the database at any point of time. There is no duplication of data entry. Data entered at only place is available to all authorised users across the state. The software also has the facility to maintain photographs, Finger prints and physical features of the Gang members. The physical features covers the nature or structure of body parts like Hair, Nose, Ear, Face, Teeth, and Eyes etc. Various reports can be generated from the software freeing the staff from such mundane duties.

The solution is primarily focused on automating the process flow related to the various schemes and benefits offered by the Science & Technology department. The solution facilitates online registration of beneficiaries – individual, institution and organizations, work flow automation of scheme / benefit management with request processing. It also includes mobile apps for registration, inspection and querying. A comprehensive web portal for the department is also designed for facilitating information dissemination to both internal as well as external stakeholders. Various informative reports and dashboard are also included as part of the solution.

The software solution Common Admission Management System (CAMS), streamlined the process of admission management. The solution automates the process of determining the eligibility for admission based on conditions like rank for the relevant stream, minimum marks for the qualifying exam, age, reservation eligibility, selected course and selected college. As the system eliminates human intervention completely, the admission process became totally transparent leading to better confidence in the system and reducing litigation. The software also facilitated the process of multi-site admissions thereby shortening drastically the time taken for completing the whole admission process.

The software solution CHOICE, was implemented in the 14 sub offices of the Office of Chief Electoral Officer in the state for creation, updation and maintenance of the electoral database in the state. The software maintains complete details of the elector including photograph, fingerprint and signature. Photo ID Cards are issued to the electors from the software. Through the search utility provided it is possible to filter names that appear in multiple locations thereby reducing the possibility of database tampering. The various functionalities automated by the software includes preparation of electoral roll, updations including additions, deletions & modifications, future revisions (summary, special, continuous & intensive), printing of rolls, preparation of CD ROMs of electoral rolls, preserving the database as archived copies and operation & management of electors photo identity card program.

A software solution was developed and deployed at the Finance Department of the Organization. The software consists of three major modules viz. Accounting Application, Loan Disbursement & Repayment, Khadi Information System. The accounts of the 405 Production units and 140 Shops are maintained in the software. The software facilitates the finalization of accounts including the generation of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement and various other mandatory statements. The Loan Disbursement & Repayment Module maintains details of the beneficiaries of the loan scheme and their repayments. The software also keeps track of the production and sales of Khadi products in the various units of the organization.
