Product Overview

With its central responsibility of ensuring prudent and efficient management of the State’s economy, Finance Department of the Assam State Government has a major role in managing and monitoring of public finance in the state. The efficiency with which the department conducts its own affairs, affects to a great extent, the efficiency of the other departments in the government also. In order to improve efficiency and to bring in transparency in its functioning, the department desires to implement computerisation on select areas where significant improvement in efficiency can be achieved and are amenable for automation.

 

Solution

The solution envisaged intends to automate the key activities of the Finance Department. The services include design and development of suggested software for the activities identified; its implementation, training, support, warranty and maintenance for a period of 12 months. The solution will be fully on open technologies. Further the solution will be server centric and only browser is required at the client end to access the system. The areas considered for the project are File Processing & Management, Project Monitoring, Repository of Acts, Rules & Regulations, Monitoring of CAG Reports, Monitoring of Inspection Reports & Monitoring of Policy Recommendations.
